dance! Our Little Muffin
Music Program brings the
Orff-Schulwerk approach to music education to
pre-Kindergarten children ages 2 to 7.
This playful class fosters learning through
elemental music-making. Your little ones
will chant and sing, tap and clap, wiggle and
giggle, dance in formation and use their
imagination.
Children will feel the sense of satisfaction when they hear their sounds resonating with others as they play colorful boomwhackers, big drums and even xylophones! They will feel at home in their bodies as they explore the different shapes and sensations they can create using their body parts.
This introduction to group music and movement experiences provides the opportunity for structured play, positive social interactions and creative musical exploration.
The ability to make music is universal; everyone has something unique to contribute to the group. The warm atmosphere and gentle approach helps even the most timid "Little Muffin" feel comfortable and ready to learn. These exciting classes draw on traditional and original material from all over the world.

Classes are 10 weeks long at 45 minutes each, and can be repeatedly taken to increasing benefits, as your child will constantly be playing fresh repertoire. Maximum class size is 10 participants.
Who is this
class right for?
• 2 to 4 year olds (with the caregiver) and 5 to 7 year olds who are comfortable taking a class on their own (a caregiver may attend as needed).
• Outgoing or shy, energetic or mellow, easily distracted or focused - any child is welcome in the group and everyone will learn at their own pace.
• Kids who are drawn to music. They like to dance, point to instruments and are mesmerized by watching a musician play.
• Kids whose parents would like to introduce them to the world of music for reasons of strengthening their learning abilities, social skills or for the pure joy of it.

cost for this class?
The fee for the ten week class is $195.00
Siblings receive the siblings special: the second (third etc.) child signs up for $160.00 after the first sibling at full price. Please be prepared to prove sibling status.
